An 'on-grid' solar system is a photovoltaic (PV) setup that's directly connected to the electricity distribution network, commonly known as the 'grid'. In Malta, this grid is managed by Enemalta Corporation.
Eson Solar Solution offers state-of-the-art PV panels from renowned brands like Kyocera, Hyundai, Qingdao Power World Co., and JA Solar. These panels are installed on your roof and produce high voltage DC current. This current is then converted by top-quality inverters from SMA, SolarEdge, or Huawei. These inverters not only stabilize the voltage and current but also convert it into AC current at 230V, aligning perfectly with Malta’s electricity supply. The AC current is then routed to a new PV meter provided by Enemalta.
Smart Metering and Energy Management
Our systems include a two-way meter that performs dual functions. It records the amount of electricity consumed from Enemalta’s supply and also tracks the surplus electricity fed back to the grid. In this way, Enemalta deducts the electricity 'sold' by the household from its total bill. If you generate more electricity than you consume, Enemalta compensates you at the current Feed-in Tariff rate.
